Custom Billing Software for Restaurants and Cafes
Restaurants and cafes. This is not a ready-made restaurant package. It is the billing and stock system I build for shops and service businesses, with the restaurant-specific parts, tables, kitchen tickets and ingredient stock, built to order as part of setting it up for you. If you run a restaurant or cafe and want to see what already exists and what I would build around your floor and kitchen, this page is honest about both.
What makes this trade different
- A bill needs to be split, discounted or put on a running table tab without slowing the floor down.
- The kitchen needs to know what was ordered without someone walking the ticket over.
- A dish uses several ingredients, and selling it should take those ingredients off the stock count.
- Cash, UPI and card all come in at the same counter and need to tally at close.
- GST has to be right on every bill, dine-in or takeaway.
Ready today
- The billing counter. Search or scan an item, apply a discount, take cash, UPI, card, bank or a split payment, and print. A bill can be held and brought back later.
- GST invoices. Tax invoices with HSN codes, printed on A5 or A4, with your business details, bank details and signatures set up the way you want them.
- The day's cash, right at close. A day book of cash in and out, with sales, payments and the cash drawer count agreeing without a manual tally.
- Staff who see only their part. Roles for counter staff, accounts and the owner, so a waiter or cashier bills without seeing purchase rates or profit.
Built for your restaurants and cafes
These do not exist yet. They are built around how your business runs, as part of setting the system up.
- Tables and a floor plan. I build a floor plan for your actual layout, with each table showing free, seated or billing, so the counter always knows where an order belongs.
- Kitchen order tickets. An order sent from the counter prints or displays at the kitchen printer or screen as a numbered ticket, so the kitchen works from the order, not from memory.
- Recipe-level stock. I set up each dish with the ingredients and quantities it uses, so a sale takes the right amount off your ingredient stock instead of only counting the dish.
What it doesn't do
- Nothing here is a ready-made restaurant system today. Tables, kitchen tickets and recipe stock are work I do as part of setting it up for your restaurant, not features you get on day one.
- Billing needs an internet connection. There is no offline billing today; a phone hotspot is enough to carry on.
- The billing counter is made for an iPad or a computer.
Questions
Do you already have tables and kitchen order tickets built?
Not as a ready module today. I build it around your actual floor plan and kitchen setup as part of getting you started, and you test it on the floor before it goes live.
Can it bill a restaurant today, even without tables?
Yes. The billing counter, GST invoices, split payments and the day book all work today. What is missing is the table and kitchen layer, which gets built for your restaurant.
How does a build-to-order module actually work?
I go through your floor plan, kitchen setup and menu with you, build the module around it, and you try it in the restaurant before switching over. It is scoped to your business, not a generic template.
Who helps when something breaks?
I do. You message me, I look at it, and I fix it. I don't disappear after deploy.
GST billing, payments and the day book work today. Tables, kitchen tickets and ingredient stock are built around your restaurant as part of getting started. Tell me how your floor and kitchen work, and I will tell you honestly what that setup looks like. Retail POS, stock and GST billing.
